EDF Energy: spearheading electric mobility in the UK
EDF Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the EDF Group, is holding trials in London in partnership with manufacturers and local authorities:
- Signature of a partnership agreement with Peugeot UK and Citroën UK
- Launch in June 2010 of the test of 20 plug-in rechargeable hybrid vehicles with Toyota
- Launch in Autumn 2010 of the Smart-Ed trial with Daimler

Alpic commits to zero-emission mobility
Alpic, a 25%-owned subsidiary of the EDF Group, is pursuing a sustainable energy future. Convinced that electricity will play a key role in reducing greenhouse gases, Alpic has for a number of years been supporting projects and initiatives that seek to promote sustainable mobility.
ESTAG involved in sustainable mobility solutions
ESTAG, a 25%-owned subsidiary of the EDF Group, is heavily involved in the development of sustainable mobility solutions. As one of Austria's leading energy companies, ESTAG is taking part in the following projects:
- "El Moto": trial of around twenty e-scooters in partnership with two schools equipped with charging terminals.
- "Elektro Taxi": a fleet of taxis out on the road, based on Toyota's Prius Plug-in model and associated with twenty or so charging points distributed around the city of Graz.
