A China-based joint research program in thermodynamic solar energy

EDF R&D entered into a China-based joint research program in thermodynamic solar energy. The cooperation with the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEECAS), via EDF R&D's center in Beijing, will be involved primarily in research and innovation done on an experimental platform in Badaling devoted to thermodynamic solar technologies. This partnership is a skill-building springboard designed to lay the groundwork for future Group growth of this fi eld. One of the challenges will be to take our modeling methods to the next level using measures discovered during testing.
