Centered on the issue of open source simulation software programmes used for the expertise, this event was the first of its kind. By involving both research firms such as IFP Energies Nouvelles in France and HR Wallingford in England and academic institutions such as the University of Manchester and the Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech, the objective was twofold. On the one hand, to validate the effectiveness of the open source model ten years after the first distribution in this form of simulation code. On the other hand, to analyze the feedback on how very different users can implement it. This dual goal has been achieved as is shown not only by the presentations of the various stakeholders which can be downloaded below, but also by the numerous interventions of the audience.
