Introduction
Respect for the environment and adapting to new regulations are among EDF's key commitments, which factor in a number of parameters.

First of all there is the thorny question of the scarcity of water in the not too distant future, as well as the problem of apportioning it between different uses. Moreover, we must be able to analyse the environmental impacts of the Group's facilities, and evaluate and control them in a precise and credible manner.
