A stable version, under Quality Assurance, every 2 years with an extended life-time of 2 years : version number 2.0, 3.0, ...
Intermediate versions, partially validated, every 6 months : version number 2.1, 2.2 et 2.3 for the 2.x series
Corrective versions when necessary : 2.0.1, 2.0.2, ... , 2.1.1, 2.1.2, ...

Stable release Code_Saturne version 2.0.4 (long-term support):
Code_Saturne 2.0 is a stable, validated version, declared fit for industrial use in the framework of the EDF R&D Quality Assurance system. See the 20/07/11 news page for features. The 2.0.4 is a corrective version over the 2.0 series.
